Dealing with a serious subject of washrooms inside homes, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is hitting it right where it hurts! Beginning on a fun note of Akshay Kumar being desperate to get married, the trailer takes a turn when he gets married to Bhumi Pednekar, after an episode of romance. Bhumi's character is shown taking a strong stand for the presence of a washroom in the house after getting married to Akshay and getting shocked at its absence. An amalgamation of comedy and a serious matter, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, is an eye-opener for the rural India, which still coaxes its women to use the public washroom. We were more than waiting for Bollywood to address this social issue, which, has been hit hard by director, Shree Narayan Singh.
From fun dialogues such as "Badtameez kehdo madam, bhaisaab na kaho, please!" to some hard-hitting ones such as "Ab biwi wapas aaye na aaye, Sandaas to laake chodunga is gaon me main!", "Biwi paas chaiye, to ghar me sandaas chaiye" and "If you change nothing, nothing will change!", the movie is going to be a remarkable one, and we can also anticipate a tax waiver for this Akshay Kumar flick! *Fingers-crossed*
The movie is slated to release on August 11, 2017, and is going to compete with Imtiaz Ali's Jab Harry Met Sejal.
Also starring Anupam Kher, TV artist Sudhir Pandey and Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame ace comedian, Divyendu Sharma, the trailer makes the movie look promising.
