In 2011, one father accused his teenage son of stealing candy from his little sister. The teen retaliated by putting his dad in the hospital. He was later charged with assault. Now that's disturbing, isn't it?

This is a gruesome tale. Ronald Clark O'Bryan, also known as "The Candy Man," killed his eight-year-old son by lacing Pixy Stix with potassium cyanide. It was discovered that O'Bryan was $100,000 in debt, and had killed his son to claim insurance money.
In 1994, Tony and his family went out trick-or-treating, but were soon held up by a man with a gun. He quickly opened fire on the innocent group. His family members escaped with some injuries, but Tony unfortunately died.
Back in 1993, some trick-or-treaters in Pasadena, California, were mistaken by the Bloods to be members of a rival gang. They then fired at the group, killing three people. It's sad how misunderstandings and gang rivalry lead to their deaths.
In 2013, a 19-year-old man in Brooklyn, New York, was shot and killed by someone wearing a Scream mask. It's possible that the same person killed two other people in the same area that night.
This is a case of 1988. Karl Jackson and his girlfriend were driving through the Bronx when they were egged by a group of teenagers. When Karl got out of the car to confront them, he was promptly shot by a teen named Curtis Sterling. Jackson died immediately, and Sterling is still serving a 20-year sentence.
