Flossing your teeth can be a waste of time, and sometimes harmful. An eminent dentist claims improper flossing would create troubles. Professor Robin Seymour from Newcastle University School of Dental Sciences (England) says a vast majority of people lack expertness in flossing. And people often find it bothering. Other options are far better than this. He suggests many other ways to earn perfect teeth.

Doctors simply suggest to floss teeth to avoid the particles between teeth. But, if the debris remains there, that may lead to serious disease.
Incorrect method of flossing may allow more bacteria into your gums and create plaque.
Interdental brushes, electric toothbrushes, antiseptic mouthwash etc. are far better than floss.
