Samir Mondal, also known as Water Colour Man. His amazing contribution to the Art of Modern times is a revival of watercolour. His water colour paintings will inspire you to paint now and then. In his endeavour to include these elements in watercolour, he developed textures and structural features as if they are oils. Samir Mondal has stood the test of this fantastic versatility. His water colours have never lost their originality, their innovativeness and their classic elegance, yet they are truly modern paintings.

Samir Mondal is an alumni of Government College of Arts, Kolkata. He has held 34 shows and participated in many exhibitions where worldwide artists came. Explored major cities of Germany for art study under INDO-FRG Cultural Exchange Programme by DAAD. Took part in many prestigious art auctions conducted by Christies and others. Visited Paris, Germany, Dubai, Mauritius, Australia, Bangkok, Kenya, Israel, Egypt, Russia, Morocco and China.

You should follow his lovely watercolour paintings on his Facebook Page.
