Tatsiana Khvitsko was not even born when the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant Tragedy took place in which many parts of Eastern Europe were exposed to the radiation. We have seen similar after-effects in past of the bombings over Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan and then during the Bhopal gas tragedy in India. Tatsiana however, refused to behave like a victim and did something that seemed to be impossible.
The story of this girl will not take you towards the darkness and sadness, but to a very positive outlook towards life.

She was sent to an orphanage as soon as she was born. Then, a family adopted her at the age of four.
She was 13-year-old when she saw a picture of her mom and she found her face identical to her new mother's. That's when her new mother told her that she isn't her biological mother and that her own family adopted Tatsiana after four years of her birth!
She was sent to the Belarus Boarding School at the age of five. But, as no school was well equipped to teach a special needy, she was sent to USA at the age of six. Under the Project Family Restoration, she was then sent to Kansas City to get her new prosthetics.
She had to deal with a very out-dated thinking of people which did not let her wear skirts or dresses as her prosthetic limbs should not be visible according to people there.
She has been a very curious and energetic person ever since her childhood and that reflected when she started taking her passion for fitness seriously.
She was not able to clear the second round, but she found many fans of her.
She loves her running blades more than anything. She says that as soon as she wears them, she feels like running in a speed that nobody can catch her.
She has completed two half-marathons and is planning to run a full marathon too. Something which even we can't dare!
She opted for the Cross-fit challenge which is considered to be one of the most difficult challenges.
She has to wear straps to lift those weights without fingers.
She does it as beautifully as no men can dare to not like her, leave alone to challenge her.
