Who doesn't love watching cricket?
It's the favourite sport of almost every other person. Even, someone who isn't much interested in sports activities would understand the basics of this game. We love watching certain matches especially.
But, this amazing game has also faced way too many controversies in the recent past. Certain incidents resulted in the defaming of many popular cricketers which proved as a major blow to their otherwise awesome careers.

This happened during the India-Australia test series in 2007. Due to some misunderstandings, Andrew Symonds blamed Harbhajan Singh for racially abusing him. The umpire even slapped Singh for the same. But, later it was found that Singh had just used some expletive Hindi word but no racial abuse was involved. So, Symonds avoided the media for quite some time.
During their South Africa tour, these two were reportedly seen in a strip joint called Club 69. Reports also claimed of both of them getting involved in a fight and creating a lot of disturbance outside the hotel premises where they were accommodated.
He was an outstanding batsman of England in the nineties.Then, he went on to serve as the batting coach for the England team. Allegations reveal that his many on the road bunk-ups led to many difficulties for him and his family. This resulted in him pulling out of England's 2002-03 Ashes tour.
England's famous cricketer Pietersen faced a lot of flak due to the team's disastrous 5-0 beating at the Australian hands during 2012-13 Ashes tour. This led to him being asked to leave the team as his presence was being uncomfortable for other teammates.
During Australia's World Cup campaign in 2003, Shane Warne got injured in the shoulder and was tested positive to a banned diuretic during his treatment. This delayed the team's campaign and also, resulted in a one-year ban on the cricketer.
Allegations on this West Indian batsman revealed him being involved in match fixing and bribery ahead of the ODI against India in Nagpur in 2007. After further investigations, the allegations were found to be true. This led to a two-year ban on the cricketer.
The coach of the Pakistani team was found dead in his hotel room during the 2007 World Cup in the Caribbean. Though reports claimed it was due to a heart attack, but some other reports mentioned he died due to suffocation on being strangulated.
Ankeet Chavan, Sreesanth and Ajit Chandila were arrested by the Delhi Police in 2013 as they were found to be a part of an organized crime syndicate and large betting. Chavan and Sreesanth faced a life ban from the sport while Chandila's hearing was still going on.
Again, the inaugural edition of IPL in 2008 faced a lot of controversies when reportedly Harbhajan Singh with his back of his hand slapped Sreesanth across the right side of his face. This resulted in Harbhajan being banned from the remaining matches of the tournament along with Sreesanth facing a lot of criticism for his behaviour. The incident happened during the match between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab.
These famous Pakistani cricketers were reportedly involved in fancy betting during a test match aginst England. Muhammed Aamir faced gambling and corrupt payment charges and was sentenced for six months. Muhammed Asif faced one-year jail term and team captain Salman Butt faced 2 and a half years jail term because of the same case.
