Imagine: you are a middle-aged mother who's out with energetic children at a store. Kerenza Centini is just that kind of woman, with four kids and a load of things to buy at Tesco. The 33-year-old mother-of-four was at the Tesco supermarket when the security staff confronted her for allegedly getting pills without paying for them. Surprised, Kerenza made it clear that it was simply an unintentional mistake, offering to pay for them immediately. She sincerely believed that the packet of pills accidentally fell on her baby's seat.

She said that the staff did not want to let her go easily, and that she was taken to the back office. Once there, her mugshot was taken, with her three kids seeing the whole incident.
The security staff told Kerenza that she would be barred from going to any Tesco supermarket for the rest of her life. After she paid for the pills, a donation to the Tesco charity was sought from her, with the staff supposedly threatening to alert the police about the matter.
After strong public backlash, Tesco has since delivered an apology to Kerenza, promised to conduct an investigation, and has sent her family some gifts, although the mother-of-four is still mad about the whole incident.
