Sometimes being famous is like sticking your head into guillotine! That’s what exactly happened with Taiwanese model/actress Heidi Yeh when an advertising agency named (JWT) ruined her life. Her portfolio shoot for a clinic(Simple Beauty) ad goes viral which featured beautiful family portrait with the caption: “The only thing you’ll ever have to worry about is how to tell the kids.”
The ad became so famous that every single clinic started using that photograph. The controversial photo had taken the internet by storm.
This ad photo turns pretty model life into living hell. After her photo went viral her jobs dried up in Taiwan.
Heidi Yeh's career faced the worst time ever when Heilongjiang tabloid published a false story about Yeh plastic surgery. The story claims that Yeh's husband divorced her for constantly producing "ugly kids".
Yeh, now charging J. Walter Thompson(JWT) and Simple Beauty Clinic for her loss up to 5 million NTD or $155,000. According to Shanghai Report: Simple Beauty clinic defending itself in the case has put out a statement on its Facebook page saying it went through the proper procedure to obtain rights to the image from JWT. Everything else would be between her and the ad agency to sort out, it added.
