He is kicked out of the hospital for breaking the rules. His father fears of keeping him home because of his dangerous eating habits. Food addict 33-year-old Steven Assanti is struggling with his life.
Steven from Cranston who is almost 800 pounds is now living in his dad's SUV.
Steven was admitted to Rhode Island Hospital where he stayed for few months and managed to lose 20 pounds. But the hospital denied to keep him because he broke the care plan rules and ordered a pizza.
After leaving the hospital, Steven is residing in his father's SUV. His father fears to take him home back because he is extremely attached to the food. Combating eating addiction is pretty hard for him. He told media: 'It's an addiction and I realize that. And it's a disease.'
There were a number of treatment procedures for him. He was supposed to drop 228 pounds in hospital, but couldn't stay longer.
His father doesn't know what to do. He is seeking for the serious help for his son. He is pretty sure that if he takes his son home, he would start previous eating habit.
Steven thanks his supporters via Facebook. He says: 'Hopefully, in the near future there will be a positive follow-up with my weight loss.
