W hen we visualise a serial killer, we always picture a manipulative, ferocious, highly intelligent men having no ounce of humanity(Thanks to Hollywood!) but what if the age of these killers is minimised drastically. Then what How will you imagine eight-year-olds with a sharp knife in their hand and not for cutting cakes We have assembled a list of some ghastly murders committed in the history of crime by the youngest of killers. Both cute and not-so-innocent, their acts will give you the creeps.
Willie James Bosket committed his first murders when he was just 15. He shot two men to death while he tried to rob. He was sentenced to only five years of prison which led to a public outcry over such a light punishment. After this New York became the first state to change its juvenile allowing kids as young as 13 to be tried and sentenced as adults. This law was called Willie Bosket Law. He's also considered to be New York's most perilous inmates committing more than 2,000 crimes.
11-year--old Mary Bell strangled her 4-year-old victim to death for the sole purpose of pleasure and excitement. Martin Brown was found strangled near an abandoned house in 1968. After few months, 3-year-old boy Brian Howe was also found in the same condition. After investigation, Mary Bell was finally convicted of the murders.
Missy Phillip found water oddly collected at the base of her son's bed, when she pulled off the base to check, she discovered Maggie Clifton's remains. Joshua Phillip. 14-year-old teenage son of Missy was later convicted for the little girl's murder by bashing her head and stabbing her when she wouldn't stop screaming. According to the autopsy report, Clifton was alive when Phillips stuffed her into the mattress.
One of the India's youngest serial killer, 8-year-old Amarjeet Sada shocked the news channels in 2007, he allegedly told the investigators that he took the babies to a close by field, repeatedly hit them with a stone, and then killed them. All of his victims were less than a year old.
By the age of eleven, Jesse Pomeroy began to sexually molest and torture other children. he would trap and his victims using knife and pins. When he turned 14, he killed a 10-year-old girl wandering near his mother's store. after that he killed 4-year-old by slashing his throat. he wrote an autobiography penning his side of the crime in which he wrote "I didn't do it, but if I did I'm probably insane."
The youngest murderer's of England, Venables and Thompson were convicted for the murder of a 2-year-old James Bugler. They lured Bugler away from the shopping mall into a secluded area near the railroad tracks where they hit the child with iron bar and bricks. Afterwards, they stuffed batteries in his mouth and left him on the tracks on the way of an oncoming train.
