We all love to go to the beach and get ourselves a good tan sometimes. But tanning can happen by other ways as well. Using spray tans or tanning beds is a good way to get an even tan but utilizing a tanning bed on a regular basis can also lead to carcinoma of the skin i.e skin cancer.
27-year-old Tawny Willoughby used a tanning bed at least 4-5 times in a week without realizing the adverse effects of it. She would be tanning since her teenage years and was first diagnosed with cancer at the age of 21. After that, she has had basal cell carcinoma 5 times and squamous cell carcinoma once. Now, at 27, she visits the dermatologist twice in a year to get the harmful bit of skin evacuated and shares a guideline in order to lead a cancer-free life.
