Ahmed Mohamed, a 14-year-old boy from texas was arrested after the school authorities called the Police. As it turned out, he had brought to school a self-made digital clock which the school authorities thought was a bomb. The police took him in juvenile custody on charges of bringing 'Hoax Bomb'.
Later when the word got out, Twitter was stormed by tweets from many in Silicon Valley who supported him for his creativity and the irresponsible behaviour of school and police.
Homemade and very simple in design, he made a digital clock and took it to school as submission for a project.
In the shocking turn, he was arrested and taken handcuffed from school by the police because he brought to school a 'Bomb'. He was charged for bringing a hoax bomb.
Co-founder of prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, made a remark of a joke on the system.
