We live in a society that's structurally unequal, one person, gender, class or something is always preferred over the other. They get more opportunities and develop better because of that.
Gender equality is something we all need and it's high time. Women face horrors because of biological thing and the social stigma attached to them. They cannot do anything freely, cannot move or in most cases even think. Someone it the other always tries to correct them for their 'wrong' methods because being a girl you cannot have any Liberty. So what we dream of an egalitarian society? Let's keep in only dreaming about it for some more years because girl you ain't getting any freedom. The behaviour towards women by men and also most woman is highly problematic, these create taboos that the lady can never go beyond and also cause psychological trauma further leading to depression and in more severe cases, suicides.
Schemes to develop a rational thinking exist, also do laws against committing heinous crimes do. But well who cares? Ideals and blind faith before the law, because hey who cares about women anyway, they are to only have done specific gender roles after all.
Empathy means when you step into the shoes of person and feel the pain that they are going through. Here are some pictures that one can look at and see how the life of women really is, these will maybe tomorrow help you to understand better as to how we face so many so many harms in every place and how uncomfortable we feel.
While doing this photo shoot, Bartel drew ideas from her personal experience, of how she had been molested and had to face the harsh inequalities present in the society. She also found out that she was not the only one, this was something that almost every model present had to face. The major reason being that they were the female sex.
The insecurity related to the body is extremely high. Most men naturally think that they have some authority or right to violate the women's privacy because they simply get the pleasure out of it. The importance of drawing a boundary in a lot of things existed. The behavior of some men has become so gross that we now need to literally separate the two sexes for the guarantee of safety and this act is a shame because we guarantee people safety and we cannot even give them safety.
We get to hear about some cases of oppression or molestation, only some cases. There are only some out of the thousands that actually exist that are highlighted. These some women who have the power enough to go and report it and even out of that some come out in the open. But we all know that more such cases exist everywhere.
The cases of domestic violence, molestation and rapes are going high. It is essential problematic because the safety that was guaranteed to women is lost in the air and even after making laws and giving speeches, we haven't dealt with the problem very well.
Women have got this thing about them being docile, why and cannot do anything without help. Such stereotypes attached to them is a reason the inequalities they face increases and men also try to take advantage of these women. People forget the importance of women, for she is the one who will carry the child twit will develop the world further. She is the one who literally holds your house together by putting on a lot of extra efforts. She is important and deserves our respect.
We dream about having an egalitarian society, where we see women and men at the same level, treat equally and producing equally. The idea of equality is very important because that is how we can strike a balance among the things. But sadly in reality the idea remains an idea only. Even though efforts are taken from some people, a large chunk of the population does what exactly goes against the idea of what we should do.
With the photo hoot where the people of the world would get a view to how is it exactly that a female has to go through the things happening to her and how sadly she has to endure this all because raising her voice against anyone is a further problem not a solution. This photoshoot will donate money to the women who faced dark times.
