Meet Bretagne. And wish her belated Happy Birthday first! She is the last known living ‘Search and Rescue Dog’ who worked at Ground Zero during the unfortunate World Trade Centre incident. She worked at the rescue operation of 9/11 with her mother and handler, Denise Corliss. Both of them are the members of Texas Task Force-1. On her 16th birthday, New York's 1 Hotel Central Park threw her a great surprise birthday party, making it the “Best day of her life”. The beautiful dog and all other dogs who work in such tough conditions absolutely deserve a day like this!
