Meet Bretagne. And wish her belated Happy Birthday first! She is the last known living ‘Search and Rescue Dog’ who worked at Ground Zero during the unfortunate World Trade Centre incident. She worked at the rescue operation of 9/11 with her mother and handler, Denise Corliss. Both of them are the members of Texas Task Force-1. On her 16th birthday, New York's 1 Hotel Central Park threw her a great surprise birthday party, making it the “Best day of her life”. The beautiful dog and all other dogs who work in such tough conditions absolutely deserve a day like this!
She helped her recover from the unfortunate incident of 9/11 and get through it.
They were taken to 1 Hotel Central Park in a limo, where there was a suite booked for her!
She was taken on a New York city trip with her parents Denise and Randy Corliss in a vintage NYC taxi.
Bertagne and mom were gifted a 'Doggy Equivalent of the Key To the City'.
But she picked dog food in the first place, as obvious!
Share the story and let people know how great a healer a dog can be, and this exactly is what they deserve!
