H ungary The Keleti Railway Terminus had been closed to migrants by the Budapest railway authorities for the past two days. The stand off has become the symbol Europe' s migration crisis. The country' s worst post the 1990' s Yugoslav wars. The Hungarian police finally withdrew from the station which lead to major chaos in the railway stations since many people thought they' d be allowed to go to Austria and Germany. However, Hungary' s main station said there' d be no trains directly going to Europe. Interestingly, the police withdrawal from the station coincided with the initiation of a special parliamentary session to debate tightening of rules and punishment for those trying to cross the scale the 3.5metre high fence at the border. On Monday, several were allowed to board trains headed to Austria and Germany however the very next day the station was closed to anyone without a European passport or visa. The act left about 2000 migrants stuck at the station or in some make shift camp transit zone where they are being looked after by Hungarian volunteers. This man decides to throw himself and his family on the tracks in order to protect themselves after realising that " the train to Austria" is actually taking them to a refugee camp!
