Different countries ban different things which might oppose their culture. America is totally cool with these things as these are simple things which are banned in other countries.
Here is the list of things that are banned in many other countries but are totally legal in America.
Since 2004, baby walkers are banned in Canada as the government thinks it delays the mental and motor growth of the child.
Ketchup was banned in France to preserve the French cuisine flavor.
Iranian Ministry of Culture banned this amazing hairstyle in 2010.
Bangladesh was the first country to ban the plastic bags in 2002. There are many countries who also banned it after a short period of time. Also, some cities of California has banned the plastic bags.
In 1992, Singapore banned the import and selling of chewing gum. It's consumption was not banned but after 12 years they allowed sugar free gum.
Denmark Government has prepared a list of 7000 names from which citizens has to choose their kids names. If they have something else in their mind then they have to take a formal approval from the church. This is also practiced in Sweden and New Zealand.
Cuba banned Incandescent bulbs in 2005. Even, Argentina and the European Union countries also banned it in 2010 and 2012.
Swedish Government banned spanking their children in 1979. After that, 45 other countries also followed to outlaw this cruel punishment. In the US, this corporal punishment is allowed in 19 US States.
Bhutan took a bold step by banning all the tobacco products in 2010.
