Mosquitoes aren't dangerous, they are vicious. They will hunt you and irritate you while making those annoying noises that are sick also the most annoying being rubbing their hands together as if conspiring something against you.
People always have tried millions of ways to get rid of mosquitoes, be it clapping their hands together or using mosquito repellents. History has seen some really crazy ideas used by people to get rid of mosquitoes. Here's a list of some of the ideas that literally top the list of the ideas. Desperate times, desperate methods.
Yes, it is fighting, fight against the mosquito and you have to win. So, Intellectual Ventures, a company built a working prototype of laser fence around their company. Here, the light would bounce between the two posts that would create a fence of light. If an insect would pass through the fence, the laser would fire.

You're forgetting that your enemy isn't the mosquito it's the disease it gives to the human body. Researches genetically engineered mosquitoes to have a strong immune system. It's so strong that it can't make the mosquitoes sick. But who cares about the mosquitoes? No one. It won't make you sick.
