She is a 20-year-old student who has documented her anorexia recovery in candid Instagram posts to help other anorexia fighters.

She also reached to the most dangerous point of where her BMI was dropping low.
Amalie explained, 'I went through a depressive phase in my mid-teens, and my perception of myself hit an all-time low. I just wanted to disappear. My eating disorder was never about looking like a model, it was a way to cope'
To maintain such a healthy body, Amalie went through many complications and rules.
As she knows that this may act as a trigger for other sufferers, Amalie didn't disclose her present weight!
'These rules made me feel safe and in control. But I had lost control, and the obsessive need for control controlled me in every way'.
Because of her studies and treatment she went through, it became easier for her to recover.
