Chronically ill six-year-old Bella Chinonis' life is regaining happiness since the weed started working on her magically. Thanks to the medical marijuana that made this little girl walk for the first time in her life.
Bella (Michigan) has "1p36 Deletion Syndrome" which is a rare case of disorder that leads to many serious health issues like mental disability, delayed growth, speech problem. hypotonia, seizures, malformations, distinct facial features etc. Apart from these, Bella has several holes in her heart and is suffering from kidney failure as well. She wasn't able to walk on her own, but due to the positive effects of marijuana, she has started walking. In Michigan, there are around 150 children who are being approved to use marijuana as a pharmaceutical drug.
Bella's mother says: She can stand now. She responds to voices and she loves the movie ‘Frozen’. She didn’t do that before and the only thing different we are doing is giving her medical marijuana.
