The addiction of Red Bull energy drink left this Irish lady at the door of death. Lena Lupari (26), a mother of three, from Northern Ireland was recently diagnosed with "Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension." Her medical reports say this is the result of being overweight and the reason behind her obesity is consuming seven litres of energy drink Red Bull on a daily basis. Obesity left her brain swollen and she collapsed in June.
During an interview with media, she told: “I’d been suffering from migraines and headaches for about five years but I just ignored them and took painkillers… Then my vision went and I couldn’t even lift my head off the bed and I ended up in hospital for six days.”
Now she's been totally cut off from Red Bull and doctors say that she has to lose around 100 pounds of weight to recover. Lena's case is a warning for all those who regularly consume a high-calorie energy drink.
