Fat-shaming Site Photoshopped Plus-Size Models And Curvy Celebs And Instantly Created A Havoc On The Internet

There’s a Facebook page which is shrinking plus-size models in pictures and showing  the world how much ‘more beautiful and better’ they’d look if they lose weight. They are using the hashtags #SkinnyAcceptance and #thINNERBEAUTY to encourage women reduce weight and ‘turn more beautiful’.

Project Harpoon’ has made images of plus-size celebrities and models look thinner using Photoshop and keeps updating them on their Facebook timeline, asking people which ‘one’ they like more. The page is being criticized all over the world for being a fat-shaming page as they post before and after images of women and then ask people to vote for the ‘better’ and ‘sexier’ one.

They have photoshopped pictures of famous plus-size models, including Melissa McCarthy, Rebel Wilson, Tess Holliday and Ashley Graham without their permission, of course.

Here's the Instagram account of the page.

The project is the brainchild of a 4chan user, who uses Photoshop to digitally recreate pictures of plus-size women.

Melissa McCarthy's photo was edited without her permission and the 'better version' was asked to be voted.

In posts on the page, the admin asks the people edited in the pictures whether they see their 'potential'. It also condescendingly compliments thin people and demeans the obese.

Tess Holiday is another victim of the page's gross concept.

Using the hashtags #SkinnyAcceptance and #thINNERBEAUTY, the page is ridiculously fat-shaming and showing how much more pretty obese women would look if they get slimmer.

Pictures of models are posted before and after cruel photoshopping and viewers are asked to vote for the 'better one. Though they viciously imply that the thinner one is always better.

Shamelessly, questions like this are asked in captions: 'Which girl do you like better? Plus-sized or Fun-sized?'

Even the print of the t-shirt is heinously changed.

People have commented shaming the page and called the actual picture of Holliday as sexy.

The hashtag #ThinnerBeauty itself is demeaning and preposterous.

A Facebook user replied perfectly to the above photo: "So basically my body type is unacceptable?? That girl is beautiful she doesn't need to loose weight to appease disgusting pigs like the ones supporting these pictures!"

Another ridiculous caption on the Facebook page: ''Which could keep up on a hike with you?'

She writes: "The girl on the left is sure damn hot. As well as the girl on the right. But who the hell are we to judge what anyone looks like? Who gives a shit what you look like, act like, or who you wanna be like. Be how or whoever you wanna be. Don't let anyone tell you different. Why should we look at this crap page that's full of complete judgement and lies? Why should we say if the girl or boy on the left or right looks good or not? Why should we judge people at all? It's a waste of time! To say that a girl looks bad or that a boy is gross, YOUR NO BETTER!! Whatever you say or judge about that person, That's exactly what YOU are. Your just a complete hypocrite. This page is just here to start and cause yet more drama. Just do yourself and everybody else a favour and not like this page. Don't look at it, don't talk about it, just forget it. It's stupid and damn right rude and no one should have to see this crap."

Here's another sickening picture depicting that fat women think of food while the thin think of doing exercise.

People have the complete right to live their lives the way they are content in, and nobody has the right to sham their physical structure, no matter what it is. Beauty is not constrained by the amount of fat stored in one's body; it lies in the way a person loves to spend his life and makes the world a better place.

Loved this? Spread it out then
