This tongue-eating Isopod does exactly as its name implies. It attaches itself to the stump where the fish's tongue is located and pretty much lives as the fish's new tongue.
Hairy frogs, also known as horror frogs, have a weird defense mechanism. When they feel threatened, they physically break the bones in their body to create claw-like bones that protrude out of their toe pads through their hind legs.
When flat worms mate, two "males" use their bifurcated penises to fence one another. the winner or the flatworm who stabs the other with its penis, remains male while the loser becomes female. Imagine if humans had to do this!
Its a snake with a spider tail. Horrifying, isn't it? It uses the spider-like tail to attract prey (usually birds) to come closer. When close enough, the viper strikes out, usually killing the victim. This very interesting viper species is unique to science. Its tail is extremely bizarre, and has evolved to mimic a solifugid, spider, scorpion or centipede.
WOW!! Look at those intimidating jaws. This seal doesn't need to make a sound, it can just flaunt its teeth and the person's blood will run cold.
This is a Red lip bat-fish. These strange looking fish have long and sharp nose and they also look like they put a lot of lipstick on their lip. As it doesn't swim very well so it walks around the ocean floor fabulously.
These "antlers" you see above are caused by a fungal infection due to the parasitic fungus Cordyceps after all of the tissue in this tarantula's body has been replaced. Some species actually have the ability for mind control and can turn the hosts into zombies to spread the infection.
It is immune to Man-o-war jelly fish sting. Blanket octopus will RIP OFF the stingers of Man-o-war easily. You wanna know how it breeds? The male fills a tentacle with sperm, then rips it the hell off and gives it to the female. If humans did that, it would be like- No no.. Let's not mate. I have changed my mind!
