To escape from reality, the easiest way is video games. We all love to play them. It gives you the power of being superhuman or supervillain. Everything is served on your couch. They also reflect some model of our real world. These games are largely unrealistic. They also present body ideals of women in an exposing way.
A site Bulimia.com changes the unrealistic bodies of female characters of video games into the body of the average woman. The characters are "reverse photoshopped" and these problematic depictions of women are presented in the shape of a real woman body. It is said that it reveals female characters in original and real life body shape than the ones you control on-screen.
The site says, “In these images, unfeasible waistlines expand, and arms and legs grow wider. Perhaps the changes are especially noticeable since most of these characters are so scarcely dressed.”
These characters show the difference between being virtual and the reality. These video game women look entirely different than any average woman!
