Ghosts, Vamps and Spirits have always fascinated adventurous people. The chills down the spine, the shuddering of the body, heart beats growing louder ; these things are and will always remain awesome.
There are people who are ever-ready to explore these supernatural stuff and prove that these are true. There are others who think of it as superstition. Anyways regardless of the two groups , we present to you 12 Haunted Places Of Georgia , a country known for its spookiness. Almost, all the spooky places of Georgia are located in Savannah, a haunted region in America. Its said that in every km or two you will find a place spooky enough to scare the shit out of you. So lets have a look at 12 Haunted Places Of Georgia.
This graveyard boasts of having around 9000 graves in it . Its establishment dates back to 1750. These figures are enough to make you aware of the ghostly apparitions in it. Its no joke guys!!

The statue is of Gracie Watson, a resident of the Bonaventure cemetery. She was the inspiration behind the cover of "The Midnight in the Garden Of Good And Evil". Since then the statue has been moved. But it is the sight of many hauntings.
This 1851 hotel is one of the oldest in Savannah. It is the place of many ghostly sightings. It was once a Civil War Hospital in which an epidemic of Yellow Fever ravaged the place. There was also a rumor that amputated limbs of soldiers were found beneath the floor boards.
This house is one of the scariest places of Georgia. It was built on top of a crematorium and thus houses many ghosts. There are many rumors about the place. But very few of these are true.
The Pirate's House is a famed tourist place. It used to be sailor's pub and home to the sailors of the ''Treasure Island"
(WARNING: Never be here after a nightfall). This is the oldest hospital of Georgia built back in 1808. It was generally a seaman's hospital which was later converted into an insane asylum. Being a hospital and asylum, it obvious that the place has been a witness of many deaths and misery.
Sightings of children ghosts have been seen running around, as well as a lady who is known as a kind and sweet person that strokes visitors' cheeks. have been reported around this house which was built back in 1892.
This house witnessed two suicide cases. One of Francis Sorrell's wife and the other one being his slave mistress. Rumors have it that the slave mistress was murdered just to keep the affair hidden. People claim to have come across various shadows and some spirit which does not let tourists inside the house.
This place is interesting. It is said that no one has ever taken a photo of this place because the camera stops working, but it starts working fine again after leaving the place. Rumors also have it that a Little Girl roams around the house.
The Olde Pink House is home to the ghost of its very own builder General Habersham. He is said to haunt the women's washroom and the dining section of this place. (Sexist Ghost)!!
This chandlery is a huge tourist attraction of Georgia. The ambience inside the chandlery is spooky and sends chills down the spine.
The Madison Square has an historical importance. It is said that during the revolutionary battle, The British Soldiers were buried in and around the square. The bodies of the British Soldiers are found by the workers while digging holes for drainage and for basement. People also complain about seeing eerie shadows lurking near the square.
