I never thought History can be in colors, it's a whole new World .

One of the best feautres of Reddit where passion and class mingle with each other is Colorized History . The decolorizers are highly skilled and use historical references and human eye technology to colour the pictures . Looking at the pictures black and white, we feel that life was not colured back then, but these artists help us realize that the life was as vibrant and colourful in the past as it is today. Color Photography started from 1970s.

You will find highest rated colorized images at Reddit. We will list some of the top contributors .

40. Lonely Kid with stuffed animal,London c.a 1945

Kid was told when he came back from playing and found his house a shambles-his mother, father and brother dead under the rubble…he was looking up at the sky, his face an expression of both confusion and defiance. The defiance made him look like a young Winston Churchill. This photograph was used by IBM to publicize a show in London. The boy grew up to become a truck driver after the war, and walking past the IBM offices, he recognized his picture.
