They served their mother countries. They were strong enough to knock out the enemy's army and save millions of lives. They are the powerful and passionate soldiers who devoted and sacrificed themselves happily.
Michael Stokes, a fine arts photographer in California, features the bold portraits of war veterans who lost their body parts due to enemy attacks. These soldiers posed confidently with their amputated body parts and prosthetics.
Michael began to work on this photography project with Alex Minsky, a U.S. Marine who in 2009 lost his leg in a roadside bomb in Afghanistan. After Minsky pictures got the positive response from people, other veterans too signed up for it.
Truly, these bold and hot pictures of amputated veterans are not less than the top models of the Vogue magazine.
