Just imagine, you decide to go for an adventure with your friends or family or alone. An adventure in a jungle or some place new. And God forbid there comes a situation where you have to face a really dangerous animal. What would you do? Say your prayers and wait? Or rather be brave and fight it? Well, you're not an actor and life is not a movie. You have to learn some basic skills to save your skin when faced by an animal. Determination and bravery will take you a long way but preparedness is what will keep you alive.
So here's a list of some ways you can use when an animal attacks you.
Make sure you learn them properly. But the same techniques do not work for every animal.

When you are in deep water and spot a crocodile, you should look for them before. Signs such as bubbles, eyes poking out of water are to be taken into account. If by chance the annual grabs your limb hit it on the nose and avoid being taken into the water.
Going for camps in a place like a jungle, it is very often that people find themselves encounter a snake. In such a case, one should be prepared with protective clothing, like long pants, boots, gloves. Also, one should also know that when a snake goes back it's usually to attack.
If you see a wolf, there's a 99% chance there are going to be more wolves around. The most logical solution is to go back away slowly. Do not try to run away, this will provoke them to attack you. Do not fight the wolf unless the circumstances are extremely necessary. If you're in a camp in an area where there can be wolves, remember to light a fire.
It is the best defense. While on camp you can be more vigilant and avoid such attacks by doing simple things such as keeping your camp clean, not taking food inside the tent, removing pet food from the area, not feeding wild animals.
Supposedly you are attacked by a bear, the one logical thing to do at that moment would be make loud noises and that too a lot of them.
Wearing a bell or using a stone or having any other noisemaker is a fantastic idea. It may scare off the animal, especially mountain lions or cats and they won't attack you.
In case of wolves or wild dogs, you should always avoid eye contact. This is because eye contact is a sign of aggression and the beast believes you are trying to insult them or something and they will charge towards you will full energy.
If a bear approaches you, try to act as if you are dead. The bear will leave you in peace and after the beast is gone far, run for your life.
