Tears of Joy and deeply touching moments for an elephant who is saved after 50 years from Shackles at a daring midnight operation.
Raju,an elephant in captivity since 50 years had a long day and it was unexpected for him.

Raju was chained when the SOS team reached , the touched elephant started crying which made everyone emotional when the team helped him to rescue
The elephant was left bleeding by his owner .he was surviving on handouts given by tourists
Raju was shifted to Mathura Conservation and care center at Mathura
Vet Dr Yadu cutting the shackles of Raju.
North London based NGO SOS Wildlife after hearing the plight of Raju , sprung up in action saving the elephant. The Vet who gently removed the chain of Raju told dailymail that the elephant didn't showed any reaction .

Raju was introduced to Female elephant Phoolkali and they both shared food
Raju will be later introduced to other elephants ,when he recovers completely.
