Alia Bhatt started off her career in the film industry at a very young age with Student Of The Year, and ever since she's only grown as a person and as an actress. She has never stuck to one category and always experimented, not only with the type of films that she did but also with the characters that she played.

Meghna Gulzar, on the other hand, enlightened us with concepts that were never really talked about earlier and even surprised her father, to say the least. Where there are directors like Karan Johar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali who've put forth movies and have always aced in their genre, the no-nonsense female director Meghna has explored her skills in the movies that she's made.

Until now it was always believed that boys make their fathers proud, but these girls have clearly proved the saying wrong and have achieved heights that even the guys couldn't do. Gulzar and Mahesh Bhatt are examples of fathers who let their respective daughters pick their way through the struggle in the industry but never left their side through thick and thin.

A recent photograph of the two fathers Gulzar and Mahesh has gone viral where the two are seen hugging each other for the film that Raazi has turned out to be. Needless to say, Meghna and Alia have done them proud through this movie and is spreading a great message forward in terms of how a woman with conviction can climb the ladder of success, with or without any male support.

Nah, not really! When it comes to walking in their fathers' footsteps, Meghna and Alia are surely making their name in the industry, but not quite much like them. It comes naturally to us when we think Meghna and Alia would be quite like their respective fathers. But to our surprise, they're poles apart when it comes to creativity.

One reason why Gulzar and Meghna have never collaborated for a film is their creative difference.
In an interview with DNA, Meghna had said, "Our movies are vastly different. As filmmakers, I don't think our sensibilities are similar at all. Our craft is different as he comes from his life experiences and I come with mine."

Alia Bhatt and Meghna Gulzar are a proof of how age and gender are never a barrier if you've set your eyes to achieve something in life. Their journey through Bollywood have time and again proved the same. It's because of their hard work and persistence that they're at a certain level at the moment.

Talking about how Meghna would not call her films female-centric, she'd told IANS, ''I wouldn't say female-centric or female-led films... but yes, the female characters in my films are stronger than in most films."

Hence, if you think you aren't good enough as you are, trust us, you absolutely are.
