On January 17, 2014, Sunanda Pushkar, wife of former Union Minister and Congress leader Shashi Tharoor was found dead in suite no 345 of Hotel Leela Palace, Delhi, under mysterious circumstances. At that time, police suspected this to be a suicide but it wasn't ruled out as she was undergoing medical treatment.

Here's everything you need to know:
Shashi Tharoor has been charged under Indian Penal Code sections 306 which is abetment to suicide, and 498 A (cruelty in a marriage).
According to The Indian Express, Sunanda Pushkar died within three years, three months and 15 days of her marriage with Tharoor.
