The World's First Commercial Jetpack Will Be Launched Soon

The jetpacks that we see in science fiction movies are finally set to appear commercially for individual use. By the next year, personal jetpacks will be available in markets, and it will cost around $150,000.

Martin Jetpack is an experimental aircraft developed by Martin Aircraft Company of New Zealand. Glenn Martin was the founder designer of the aircraft. After the research and experiments of over 35 years, the company presented its product for the first time in 2008. The initial flight was tested in 2011, and now the company is about to launch with a refined craft.

The Jetpack is made of carbon fibre and aluminium which includes two ducted fans are used along with a gasoline engine. It claims a 60-mile per hour maximum speed and 5,000-foot flight ceiling. On a full fuel tank, it makes you fly for around 30 minutes. The jetpack is for the rescue, military, recreational and commercial applications purposes.
