Some are born with an extraordinary brain. There are many wonder kids in the world history who possess charismatic intellect and have amazed the world with their miraculous performances.
You might be familiar with the term child prodigy. In psychology, the child under ten who gives a meaningful output in a certain sector is called a prodigy. Child prodigiousness does not guarantee the same fame in adulthood.
These child prodigies from various fields who became famous, have also won million hearts because they are unbelieveable. Here is the list of 10 among many.
Aelita (9) is an Australian wonder kid who is popular for her painting style. She is born in a family where both her parents are artists. She grew watching her parents playing with canvas and started painting when she was just nine months. Seeing her interests in painting since the early age, Aelita's parents encouraged and helped her and paid extra attention to brush up her skills, that she was picking up on her own. Her artworks were exhibited to the public when she turned two. At that time, one of her paintings was sold for 24,000 dollars in Hong Kong. Aelita was four years when she had her first solo exhibition in 2011 in New York. She is also known as the youngest professional artist ever.
Kim was born in South Korea in 1963 and is popular for his highest IQ at the youngest age. He graduated with a Ph.D. in physics at the age of 15. Guinness Book listed him as the child with an IQ level of 210. At the age of just three, Kim solved the complicated calculus problems and was capable of reading Korean, English, German and Japanese language. At the age of four, he memorized around 2,000 words in English and German. He also wrote poetry in Korean and Chinese language in early ages. Two short books of essays and poems were also published. Kim is 52 years now and he is a civil engineer.
Elaina became popular as Britain's youngest agony aunt at just 7. She is the youngest radio jockey ever. Once she called up in a program in a local Mercia FM and told the woman caller to go bowling with pals and drink a mug of milk. Her advice to that lady who wanted to dump her boyfriend became so popular that the FM offered her a weekly slot on a program. Akrit is an Indian child surgeon and medical genius who is popular for performing a successful surgery at the age of seven. In 2000, he performed an operation on an eight-year-old girl whose burned fingers were curled into a knotted ball and released her fingers. The girl's parents had no capacity to afford the treatment, so they trusted the little surgeon. As the surgery video clips appeared on YouTube, Akrit became popular all over the world. Seeing his extraordinary talent, Chandigarh College accepted him for science degree when he was 12. He is the youngest student admitted to Indian University ever. Arkit also claimed that he discovered the cure for cancer. His parents told that he started reading William Shakespeare's plays and books about medicine at the tender age of 5. Akrit is also invited on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Michael Kearney (USA) is famous for holding several world records at early ages. He started uttering words when he was four months. At the age of six months, he amazed his family when he told his pediatrician 'I have a left ear infection'. He learned to read when he was only ten months, and when he was 4, he surprised the world by achieving a perfect score in multiple-choice diagnostic tests. Michael set a Guinness Book of World's Record as the youngest university graduate in the world at the age of 10. When he was 14 years, he completed Master's degree in biochemistry. Michael won $1,000,000 on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
Saul (America) is known for his true prodigy. Saul read many books of Shakespeare when he was nine. He mastered geometry and calculus by the end of the grammar school and took up philosophy. At the age of 17, he developed a mathematical logic called Semantic Considerations on Modal Logic and published it. Saul was the youngest guy who was invited for a teaching post at Harvard University.
Greg solved math problems when he was 14 months and started reading and memorizing books at just two years old. He got enrolled in university when he was just 10. He is an Ambassador for Peace and the World Children. He is founder of International Youth Advocates. At the age of 13 Smith made himself a motivational speaker. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize four times.
Cleopatra was born in Moldova and is the youngest singer in the world with big commercial success. In 2006, her debut album named 'at the age of 3' set the record for the highest paid young artist in the world. When Cleopatra was three years old, she was hanging around with her singer father in a recording studio. All of sudden she grabbed a microphone and started singing along with her father. Arfa Karim (Pakistan) was a computer prodigy who became the youngest Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) at the age of nine. She was honoured by Fatimah Jinnah Gold Medal, Salaam Pakistan Youth Award, President's Pride of Performance and many other titles. In 2006, Bill Gates invited Arfa to visit Microsoft Headquarters in US. Arfa died due to the critical epileptic fit when she was 16 years old.
Priyanshi is a mental calculator who was the youngest contestant and title winner of the Mental Calculation World Cup 2010 at the age of 11. She has successfully completed all the categories with 100% accuracy in Mental Calculation World Cups till date. She is listed in Guinness Book and Limca Book and has won many titles in several competitions. Priyanshi started learning Mental Math at the age of six.
