Relationships can be tricky.
And then, they say your past never leaves you. It's difficult to banish an Ex forever.
Somehow there is something very fascinating and comforting about getting with someone you used to date. You know, they know your system, they know how you work!
But, there is a BUT attached to it.
It can be difficult and messy. They can cause us heartache and pain, again!
So, in most of the cases, it is better not to re-friend, re-kiss, re-consider and these are the messages we definitely shouldn’t be sending in the times of easy accessibility.
Umm.... I am good, just missing you! NO. This is not happening. Most probably they will respond with 'Good, You?' or maybe nothing at all.
You Won't. Ever.
It's a bad, bad idea and it is usually a lie. Admit it, you are being a fair-weather friend, you don't miss him, you miss the way he made you feel on GOOD days.
Don't text them YOUR SONG even if it was just on the radio on like, three different stations at the same time and you are convinced it's a sign. It's not. It's just a coincidence. Keep calm. Carry on.
Ahh... remembering good old days might prompt you to go for a sweet little drink for its sake. One last night together. And the next thing you will remember is a guilt-ridden bad hangover.
Apologizing is okay. It's totally fine when you are doing so with the intention of mending something and when you really mean it. But, think twice. Are you really sorry? Should you even be sorry? Apologizing for the sake of contact is not a good idea. Things went wrong for a reason, remember!
Ummm....The answer might be a f*cked up truth you are not ready to hear.
By saying this, you are emotionally putting yourself out. This will make you, even more, vulnerable and you might even sound desperate.
Hell Yes...this is happening. Stop sulking and get a life.
An indirect way of asking are you off limits now! Come on! You shouldn't care at this point. Move forward. This is just a phase, this too shall pass. Be Strong. Don't let your phone or laptop suck you into thinking you need the past to make you feel something. Guard your feelings, and don't let anyone take them for granted.
