Safar hi manzil, 'sawal' yeh bas aisa hi hai,
Bhaagne ka karan, 'sawal' paisa hi hai.
One of my colleagues decided to take a cab to work, little did she know that this ride would change someone's life.
When she told the driver, she has to go to Shekhar Central, he asked her if she knows about WittyFeed, a company that apparently is in the same building.
"I work there," answered my colleague.
As soon as she said this, the driver handed her a diary and told her that he has been carrying it around so that he could hand it over to us at WittyFeed.
The man was then called at the WittyFeed Headquarters, and here is what happened next.
Sachin Gaur is from Indore and has been working as an Uber driver for past two years. He believes that driving doesn't require a lot of energy, hence he took up writing. He said that he always carries a diary with him, so that he can scribble as and when he gets time.
He often reads out his scribbles to his passengers, one of whom suggested that he should reach out to WittyFeed, a content marketing company.
He might have studied only till 10th standard, but he is way more intelligent than other Uber drivers. He can speak in 15 different languages.
Sachin always wanted to travel, to try different cuisines, experience different cultures. And to live that dream, he took up driving. He has driven trucks and taxis and has seen more than 90 percent of India over the last 20 years.
While we keep complaining about not having enough time for self, Sachin uses the time he is at a traffic signal to write.
As a follower of Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, Sachin believes that the yoga has transformed his life in many ways, and his moment of pride was when Isha Foundation declared that they would feature some of his writing on their platform.
"Life me sapna dekho, ek hi dekho," Sachin said while talking about aspirations. So when asked what is it that he wants to achieve? He said that he wants to visit Uber's California office that too all sponsored.
Sachin has made a plan for his daughter, who is now 3 years old. He wants her to win a gold for Indian Women's Hockey Team.
"दो जाम ना काफी सबकुछ भूल जाने के लिए, कुछ ज्यादा पी लेते हैं 'सवाल' खुद को यकीन दिलाने के लिए। डूबा देंगे ग़म को शराब में 'सवाल', ना रहेगा होश, ना आएगा किसी का खयाल।"
Sachin Gaur believes that all a human needs to do is make a strong wish and work towards achieving it. It is all about one's mentality and how one takes the situations. Because in the end, YOUR JOURNEY DEPENDS ON YOUR OWN DECISIONS.
That's all, folks. I hope you liked Sachin's story.
