For a girl, her wedding is one of the most special days of her life. It looks easy but it is one of those days when you have mixed feelings and you just want everything to go right.
I am sure television's famous bahu Simar from Sasural Simar Ka aka Dipika Kakar also must have felt the same at her wedding with longtime beau Shoaib Ibrahim.
The couple has an inspirational love story which will clear all the stereotypes that society has against caste, giving a second chance to love and what not.
Right from the day when they professed their love on national television, to the day when they finally became man and wife this duo has been giving major goals to every couple.
Dipika was already married to someone when she entered the telly-world. The actress first tied the knot with pilot Raunak Samson in the year 2015 but called it quits because it didn't work out with him. Post the divorce, rumours claimed that Shoaib was the reason behind their divorce. The actress, however, stated that it was that phase of her life that she never wanted to look back to.
She tried her best to focus on her work but then took some time off from her show Sasural Simar Ka. When she returned to the show, things finally started to fall in place.
"I'm relieved; it was a phase in my life that I don't want to go back to. Maybe it was meant to happen, as I learnt a lot from it. But now I want that chapter to be closed," she had told Bollywoodshaadies.com
"It's not mandatory that every love marriage should work; it can have its issues like compatibility too. Breaking off any relationship is difficult, almost traumatic. That's exactly what happened with me. My parents supported me and Shoaib helped me pull through those difficult times. We were not dating then," she had said.
The usual social norms and stigmas never let a family accept a bride from a different community because "chaar log kya kahengey", but Shoaib's family accepted the Dipika and blessed the couple. They even allowed them to plan and organise the wedding the way they wanted to.
The couple had a haldi and mehendi ceremony as per the Hindu traditions and the main wedding according to the Muslim traditions. The ceremonies took place in Shoaib's native town Bhopal.
The couple chose to keep all the ceremonies private, but few friends from the industry, Falaq Naaz, Abhishek Sharma and Jyotsna Chandola, joined in the celebrations.
This candid photograph portrays the beauty and innocence of their relationship.
She dressed in hot pink and shared an Instagram story where she is seen heading to the wedding location.
They chose the hashtag #DoDilMilRaheHain for their wedding and maintained the same throughout the functions.
That's all people.
