Channan Petrides, a 22-year-old girl, was diagnosed with incurable cystic fibrosis in childhood. Past three years, she went through many critical health issues. She was advised to receive a new heart and lungs through the organ transplant in September 2014.
Doctors said that during this transplantation she would either die during the operation or her organs will fail within six months. Even if she manages to survive through this, she won't be able to carry out all the activities and have to take antibiotics to overcome infections.
Doctors were not sure of her survival even after organ transplantation and hence she made a major decision of her life.
Although, her family did not supported her at first and were unhappy with this decision but later they supported her to complete her bucket list.
