Despite all the advancements in various fields, if you ask anyone around the world, 'What is the first thing that comes to mind about India', it would either be its filthiness or rapes.

From the nation that gave the world 'zero', the country which sent its Mars Orbiter Mission at a cost lesser than the Hollywood movie 'Gravity', the nation which gave CEOs to the best companies in the world; is it okay to have such a detrimental image attached to itself? 

The answer is definitely NO. Probably that is the reason that everyone appreciated the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan started by Prime Minister Modi which aims to attain the vision of 'Clean India' by October 2019.

But is it only one governing body's responsibility to work towards the dream? This question rang a bell in our minds and hence, we thought of asking the nation's opinion on the subject.

More than 64% of the people who participated in the survey say that it is the people's responsibility to keep India clean. Around 20% say that both should work together to achieve the dream. Although some people also said it is the responsibility of the government to bring about a change since they pay Swachh Bharat Cess as well.
