We all had bizarre fears in childhood. We still have a few of them. Be it slipping from skateboard and crashing into a tree or finding a ghost beyond the bed if we slept without brushing our teeth, we all grew up with similar phobias. Some were just weird and came from nowhere, while others were implanted in our minds by our parents to improve our childhood bad habits.
Artist Fran Krause asked people about their weirdest fears and came up with comics depicting the same. You might have felt of your fears to be stupid, but they aren't uncommon at all.
Check out how many of these horrors you had as a child!

This is solely an idea of horror movies and kids easily connect with this fear.
This fear mostly came from watching movies, where a knife would drop on the girl's leg while she'll be trying to hide from an ghost in her house. Somewhere with such movies, fear entered our minds.
Kids love picking their nose for no reason. It's one of their favorite past time, giving no damn to hygiene their mothers taught them to maintain. The best weapon parents come up with is to tell their kids about a worm who lives inside their nose which would bite if they try to pick their nose. Funny, some kids are too afraid to get back to their hobby again.
This is one of the most common fears people have. Thanks to movie series 'The Final Destination' for bringing us to the world of vivid imaginations of dying in the bizarre most ways possible.
Fearing that a ghost would follow and harm us if we don't get out of the basement as soon as possible. And now that it's the basement, mommy won't be able to hear me screaming as she'd be busy in the kitchen cooking pasta for me.
Mirrors in rooms have been a reason of fright in many children. They're afraid there's someone in the mirror which stares them while they're asleep. Psychiatrists suggest to keep mirrors away from the bed so that bed's reflection cannot be seen in the mirror.
Many kids suffer from this phobia. They're afraid they'd lose their tongue and won't be able to seek for help, and finally losing the ability to speak forever. Such fears are common in children who are slightly more dependent on their parents than other children.
This phobia is both for getting hurt or hurting someone you love. These imaginations are rooted in their minds from either seeing similar accidents or from movies.
Many kids start doubting their house's walls to have trapped human bodies just like they heard about the Great Wall of China.
Most of the parents scare their children about the same to protect them from chocking while swallowing seeds of fruits. Kids sometimes take it too seriously and cry their eyes out if they accidentally swallow a single seed.
Some kids who've known the 'secret' of babies coming out of butts, were afraid if a baby would come out of their butt too along with poop.
This is a phobia generally people living alone suffer from. They're too afraid to leave their beds to go to the bathroom as they're afraid a ghost would come out then and enter their bed.
Another weapon to make sure your kid keeps the laces of his/her shoes tied.
Sometimes kids get scared with the thought of being seen while doing their business. Even while pooping they're afraid if they're actually doing it for real.
Claustrophobia can be a reason for such reason. And of course, movies.
God made Mary pregnant because she was perfect. Little girls are obviously afraid of that idea. They sometimes choose not to be perfect then.
