When Facebook had acquired WhatsApp, it had shared its vision of coming up with a business-friendly application soon, and the time finally arrived when it launched WhatsApp Business. A pilot version of the app was also released before its final launching in the partnership with BookMyShow, Netflix, and MakeMyTrip.
The final version of this application for small businesses was first launched in Indonesia, Italy, UK, the USA on Friday. The app is now finally available in India with some fantastic features that it offers.
Have a look!
Download the free application from Google Play Store and open it. As you do in WhatsApp, enter your cell phone number and verify it with an OTP.
You'll have to enter your business name, company name or shop name (name cannot be changed once saved). Bingo, it's done! The homepage of WhatsApp Business is similar to regular WhatsApp application that you use.
One of the added features of this application is you can add more details about your business profile. When you click on the three dots in the top right corner of the app, you can click on settings and then find business settings.
In the settings, you can set display picture, your business address, pin its route via Google Maps, choose the kind of services you provide from listed categories such as automotive, finance and others.
Not only the business address and its navigation, but you can also mention what your business does, working hours and the added benefits you provide. You can also add your business profile and email address.
The most attractive feature that WhatsApp Business offers is its messaging tool. It can be accessed from the business setting where you get three different option to set away from the text, greet, or quick reply.
That's all, folks!
