Prabhakar Sharan was born to Prabhunath Sharan and Subhadra Prasad in Patna, Bihar. His parents are retired bankers from Motihari district of Bihar. He completed his education and then went to Costa Rica for further studies.

After landing in Costa Rica as a student in 2000, Prabhakar started a chain of Indian clothing and restaurants. He also brought Bollywood style movies to Costa Rican theatres, and Monster Truck programmes from the U.S, but it didn't work out well.

In 2010, he came back to India. After returning, he found things in his life start falling apart, he even gave divorce to his wife.

There, he shot his first Bollywood-style movie in Spanish"Enredados: la confusion" (Entangled: The Confusion). The movie is made in a typical dhamaka with action, songs and dance.

In the movie, Prabhakar plays the lead role along with a famous Costa Rican television hostess, Nancy Dobles. Ex-world wrestling superstar and Hollywood actor, Scott Steiner also plays a lead role in the movie. It has been produced by Costa Rica-based Pacific Investment Corporation.

Prabhakar has intentions to deliver his baby project in English, Hindi and Bhojpuri as "Ek Chor, Do Mastikhor" in March-April.

According to Jose Castro, film commissioner Costa Rica, it is the first Costa Rican movie to have such a powerful composition and entertain people at the same time.
