Delhi University stands out as India's largest institution for higher learning where the topmost scholars study. Everything is special about Delhi University - from curriculum to extra-curricular societies, events, cultural fests and so on!
Every year, Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) organises a university-wide marathon as a part of an endeavour to create awareness among university students.
This year we will see the fourth season of DUSU Women Marathon, launched with the objective of spreading awareness around women-related issues, especially menstruation.
This marathon will encourage women to focus on their health and fitness, and run on a regular basis. The marathon is for the girls of Delhi University and aims to question the tax imposed on sanitary napkins that is a part of their monthly needs.
The idea is to run and bring solidarity on the streets for the cause, bolstering the idea of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao alongside Swachh Bharat.
The marathon is scheduled for January 22, Monday. Women Marathon - Season 04 is a joint event organised by Delhi University Students Union in collaboration with Skytouch Foundation.
The marathon will take place at Faculty of Arts, North Campus at 2 pm. The entire distance will be of four kilometres. All the colleges of Delhi University will be participating in this marathon.
If you want to be a part of this marathon too, we highly recommend you to register yourself ASAP.
