Making people laugh is not a child's play, it requires proper acting skills plus a good comic timing. And Bollywood has some fine actors who are pretty good at it.
So, who is your favourite comedian from Bollywood? Akshay Kumar? Govinda? If they are your favourite, you must know what they are up to. But do you know what their kids are up to?
Well, we all know that expectations are often bound to be a bit high if one hails from a family of celebrated personalities, right? The question is whether these kids would follow their showbiz parents' footsteps or will choose their separate roads.
So how about we see what the star kids of famous Indian comedian actors are doing these days.
The International Khiladi of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar is among one of the most successful actors in the industry. But his son Aarav Kumar often stays away from the spotlight. Aarav Kumar was born in 2002 is not even 16 years old yet but still has managed to gather the attention.
Anupam Kher is one of the well established and celebrated actor of B-town. He is the current Chairman of Film and Television Institute of India. Anupam Kher married Kirron Kher in 1985. Sikandar Kher is Kirron Kher's son from her first marriage to Gautam Berry. Sikandar is very selective about movies and has just done only six movies till now.
Boman Irani is a popular name when we talk about exceptional comedian actors of Bollywood. His son, Kayoze Irani earned his first taste of fame after his performance in his debut film Student Of The Year. Later, he was seen in Youngistaan and The Legend of Michael Mishra. He also showed his talent as an assistant director in the movie Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.
During his time, Govinda was the first choice for comic roles. And don't get me started on his energetic dancing skills. Guess what Govinda's 20-year-old son, Yashvardhan Ahuja also agrees with us. He said that it is only his father who can come up with impromptu dialogues and make the film a huge success.
"Everything I know about the craft came from dad. He has taught me how to improvise on screen," said Yashvardhan Ahuja who is currently working with filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala's marketing team. "I have been with Sajid uncle for a month now. He gave me the best advice - To go with the flow and acquire knowledge on all aspects of filmmaking, including editing and writing before getting into acting. I will also assist him on "Kick 2," said the aspiring actor to TOI.
Bollywood's most famous comedian Johnny Lever's son, Jesse Lever is popular for his tall, dark and handsome looks. Where others are planning to follow their father's footsteps, Jesse Lever has some different plans. "Initially, I thought I should only do comedy and stand-up, like dad. But when I started doing stand-up, all my acts flopped! On the other hand, I bagged many best actor awards when I acted in serious roles in college plays. I decided to focus on drama and music," said the young actor, singer, and drummer in a conversation with Hindustan Times.
Comedy is not completely out of the way for Jesse. "Maybe I will come to it later," he said.
The very successful veteran actor and dialogue writer Kader Khan's son Sarfaraz Khan is an actor, producer and director. He is known for profoundly successful films, the painful romance Tere Naam and the action thriller Wanted.
Mehmood Ali, popularly known as Mehmood is still remembered for his comic roles in Hindi films. Did you know that in his career he worked in over 300 films?
Like his father, Lucky Ali is also a well-known singer-songwriter, composer, actor and director of B-Town and television series.

Born to the legendary actors Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak, Vivaan Shah started his film career with Saat Khoon Maaf. He was also seen in the movie Happy New Year in which he played the role of a hacker.
"Whenever I am not doing films, I am doing theatre. It is my backbone and something I do most of the time. Films and theatre both give me equal joy but theatre is something that keeps me going when I am not doing films," he said in an interview to Deccan Chronicle.
Born to artistic parents, father Paresh Rawal (a notable artist of Bollywood) and mother Swaroop Sampat (an actor, painter, teacher and a writer) Aditya Rawal is a playwright. Aditya Rawal ventured into Broadway with his play 'The Queen'. He also wrote a play inspired by William Shakespeare's Macbeth and the works of Rabindranath Tagore.

Known for his villainous and comic roles, Shakti Kapoor has created a unique position for himself. Now his son, Siddhanth Kapoor has also embarked on the journey of building his own name. He started his acting career with crime film Shootout at Wadala and was later seen in psychological thriller film Ugly.
