The exhibitions of ancient things always attract people. Recently, there was an exhibition of historic sandals called Shoes: Pleasure and pain at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. A pair of 2000-year-old Egyptian sandals covered in gold leaf were kept on display.

There were more than 200 pairs of shoes. Each shoe was amazingly designed, and some of them were worn by queens and princess of the Victorian era. Shoes from the era gone by, to shoes today- every shoe is kept here. Let's dive in and see these stunning pictures of historic sandals.
