Is there something in your head that freaks you out? Something that though people say won't hurt you, still scares you out? Something if you see, you run miles away?
If you ask me, I have a fear of clowns, dark, heights... and so much more. But what if I tell you that these fears are some basic fears.
What I have for you all is something that isn't at all normal. Yes, I here have the most bizarre and unusual fears one can ever come across. Though they are endless in number, I have brought the unique ones for you. Some of these are so mysterious that they will give you a ridiculous feeling. But I don't think anyone of us can even imagine what such people go through.
So, how about we learn about some of the strangest phobias that a person could have.
This fear is called as Numerophobia or Arithmophobia and is an exaggerated, constant and often irrational fear of numbers.
Termed as Chaetophobia, it is a rare phobia which induces fear of hair disease. This causes a person to be afraid of going bald or developing scalp or hair issues.
Myrmecophobia is an intense fear of ants.
Trypophobia is a proposed phobia of irregular patterns or clusters of small holes or bumps.
Ochophobia means the fear of vehicles. It is also called as Amaxophobia or Hamaxophobia.
Lepidopterophobia, the word for fear of butterflies. It is closely linked with Entomophobia which is the fear of insects or Mottephobia, the fear of moths.
Ommetaphobia or Ommatophobia is the fear of eyes. The sufferers would not touch their eyes nor make any eye contact.
Emetophobia is a phobia that causes overwhelming, intense anxiety pertaining to vomiting. There are various sub-categories of this phobia that includes fear of vomiting in public, a fear of seeing vomit, a fear of watching the action of vomiting or fear of being nauseated.
The word Bathophobia is the fear of depths. It is said that the people living with this phobia try to avoid lakes, swimming pools, seas, hallways, wells, mountain valleys, tunnels or all other things that have a depth associated with them.
Globophobia is a fear of balloons. The source of fear may be the sound of balloons popping. Generally, people with this phobia refuse to touch, feel, or go near a balloon for fear it will pop.
Claustrophobia is the fear of having no escape, and being closed into a small space.
The fear of crossing streets is termed as Agyrophobia.
People with the fear of opinions live in constant fear and anxiety of hearing people's opinions about them. It is called Allodoxaphobia.
Selenophobia, also known as Lunaphobia is the fear of the moon, moonlight, or even darkness on a moonless night.
Anuptaphobia is the fear of being or staying single.

Aulophobia is defined as a persistent, abnormal, and unwarranted worry of flutes.
