It has been more than nineteen years that India introduced its first ever superhero, Shaktiman. Actor Mukesh Khanna did an amazing job in entertaining the Indian audience with his role as Gangadhar and Shaktiman. But, there was one more character who made the audience fall in love with her simplicity and pleasant smile, and she was none other than the female lead of the show Geeta Vishwas. A character portrayed by Vaishnavi Mahant. She was a brave news reporter in Aaj Ki Awaaz.
The show went off the air in 2005, but the characters still have a great impact on the minds of the audience.

The show managed to cater a large number of audience with a new story and plot line. Vaishnavi was appreciated for her performance and role as Geeta.
Vaishnavi started her journey of acting with films, but it was only after Shaktiman that she received a lot of recognition. She acted in a film named 'Veerana' before the show in 1988.
It has been more than ten years that the show went off air. Geeta has transformed a lot in the tenure of ten years.

Vaishnavi was known for her simplicity but she was in the news when her pictures from a photoshoot surfaced on the internet.
Vaishnavi has also been a part of Tollywood film industry. She is known for her noteworthy performance there as well.

Vaishnavi starred in a show 'Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke' as Shail Garg. She has also been a part of Star One's famous youth-oriented show 'Miley Jab Hum Tum'.
Vaishnavi is a part of the show, 'Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai'. She is portraying the role of Mrs. Maheshwari in the show.
