The overhead pedestrian bridge at the Bandra Station in Mumbai was covered with fumes and flames this afternoon. It was further reported that the fire erupted from a slum nearby. 16+ fire engines and many water tanks have been put on work to fight the flames that have surrounded the location.
According to the sources, the eyewitnesses experienced the sky above Garib Nagar in Behrampada slum covered with smoke. It is also reported that this occurred due to multiple cylinder blasts.

As per Mid Day's report, a minor fire broke out on the 13th floor of a residential building in Bandra. The blaze in the 16-storey 'La Mer' building resulted to this.
