Gaston and the villagers kill Maurice and hang Belle for trying to protect the Beast. Then Gaston and company storm the castle and kill everyone including the Beast. While returning, Gaston accidentally bumps into the magical rose and it falls down. As soon as that happens, Belle rises from her death and comes to the castle as a ghost and kills Gaston. Gaston's soul is now trapped in the magic mirror and Belle haunts the castle with the rose in her hand. This particularly broke my heart because I swooned over Belle all my childhood.

That is sweet but kind of like a Hindi potboiler carrying forward the boyfriend's work.
