The Allahabad High Court delivered the final judgment in the double murder case that took place in Noida in the year 2008. The case had gathered a lot of media coverage because of its complexities and involvement of CBI in the picture. In 2013, it was concluded that Rajesh Talwar killed his teenage daughter for having some sort of relationship with the domestic helper of the house who happened to be from Nepal. Later, the couple was sentenced to life imprisonment.
The criticism and lack of proper investigation did not hamper the faith that Talwars had for the Indian judiciary system and the lawmakers of the nation. They further appealed the High Court for conviction and here's what the judgment confirms.
Tafeeq Ahmad Mir, the lawyer for the Talwars was talking to the judge and it was further reported that they are not guilty of the murder of their daughter.
The court granted the couple benefit of the doubt because there was no chain of proper evidence to define anything. Nothing must be concluded based on suspicions.
