Mrs Funnybones of Bollywood aka Twinkle Khanna departed with words that made everyone question the orthodox mentality that people follow. We know that when she speaks, everyone simply listens. Why? It is all because of her sassy comebacks. There's a reason why people went head over heels for this woman when she appeared in Koffee with Karan with her husband, Akshay Kumar.
Her recent acceptance speech at Vogue Woman of The Year Awards will make you fall in love with her time and again. She was awarded as the Opinion Maker of The Year, and I know you are already craving for more information on that.
Let's not waste much time and dive into the story to see what difference she tried to make this time.
A fun and banter-filled marriage is what everyone dreams and this couple has been going strong as ever.
Akshay appeared with wife Twinkle at Koffee with Karan, and she was a scene stealer, even Akshay couldn't handle her sass.
Want to see how appealing she looked?
The images are on the next slide.
Twinkle looked extremely stunning in her red dress, she was awarded as the Opinion Maker Of The Year.
Her three-minute speech is taking rounds on the internet. Her hilarious take on certain issues will make you question the way we all have been considering things all this time.
The opening line of her speech was: "It's true that we get more comfortable in our skin as we get older, but that's because the poor thing is not as tight as it once used to be."
When she started her speech, she spoke about GST and sanitary pads too.
"We don't need GST on our sanitary pads, what we need instead is an alarm inside it. Not a vibrating one that'll set us off on a different path altogether. But an alarm nonetheless that warns us of imminent overflow and saves us the 100 trips we make to the bathroom just to check. Now that's a product I would want GST on."
Aren't her words always on point?

"Millions of Indian women fast for their husbands' long lives every Karva Chauth. My dear friend who just won an award is immortalised in his movies, but I don't think our 3,033 Gods are really listening. Because on the mortality charts there are 147 countries above us where their men outlive our good old Indian dudes. So, ladies stop because it's clearly not working."
Whoa! This woman surely has a point.
"God could not be everywhere, so he created mothers, and the Devil could not be everywhere, so he created mothers-in-law. Having said that, I feel I'm going to be a terrible one."
"The most important thing I have learned is this-for centuries, women have been looking for a cape, and they've been handed an apron. And it's only recently that we've learned how to swing our aprons around, let it fly on our backs and take to the skies. Awards like these validate our work and help us soar higher, so I'm truly grateful to be going home with this one."
