This Abandoned Resort In Taiwan Has Turned Into A Ghost House!
New Taipei in Taiwan was planned as a futuristic city but, unfortunately, it got turned into a fatal
ghost town. In 1978, Hung Kuo Group, a Chinese company planned to construct a luxurious resort for the soldiers to spend their holidays. But, their decision went wrong. The holiday complex could never accomplish its completion. The site where they planned to make the resort was haunted, and it took lives of several workers. Since then, this resort is abandoned and in 2008 it got demolished.
The construction of this resort started in 1978 in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
It was built for the U.S. soldiers to spend their vacations lavishly.
The resort has beautiful surroundings and an amusement water park.
After two years, construction of this resort had to stop.
The reason could be poor funding, but many people believe that builders ran away due to the fear of some paranormal activities on the site.
There was a rumor that the resort was built on the graveyard of dead Dutch soldiers.
Workers often said that they had seen terrifying spirits visiting them in their dreams.
During its construction tragic accidents occurred on the site.
Many workers committed suicide on the spot due to some unknown reasons.
Urban explorers with all the courage entered the resort.
They stated that the place is haunted by the spirits of dead soldiers and Hung Kuo workers.
Once upon a time, this location was home to a sacred Chinese dragon who did not want his place to be disturbed.
This abandoned haunted resort became a tourist attraction due to its architecture.
Some people were found entering this resort illegally.
There was a plan for conservation of this abandoned structure but it was demolished in 2008.
The images of this resort have been used in many professional films and in MTV short.
In 2010, this site was sold to another company that also wants to make another resort and water park.
