New Taipei in Taiwan was planned as a futuristic city but, unfortunately, it got turned into a fatal ghost town. In 1978, Hung Kuo Group, a Chinese company planned to construct a luxurious resort for the soldiers to spend their holidays. But, their decision went wrong. The holiday complex could never accomplish its completion. The site where they planned to make the resort was haunted, and it took lives of several workers. Since then, this resort is abandoned and in 2008 it got demolished.
It was built for the U.S. soldiers to spend their vacations lavishly.
The reason could be poor funding, but many people believe that builders ran away due to the fear of some paranormal activities on the site.
Workers often said that they had seen terrifying spirits visiting them in their dreams.
They stated that the place is haunted by the spirits of dead soldiers and Hung Kuo workers.
Some people were found entering this resort illegally.
